Allred Exits Texas Senate Race, Will Run for House as Crockett Weighs Bid

Former U.S. Rep. Colin Allred is ending his U.S. Senate campaign in Texas and will run for a newly drawn House seat instead, a shift he says is meant to avoid a divisive Democratic primary as Rep. Jasmine Crockett (D-Texas) weighs a bid for the Senate.
