Dear Supporter,

For more than two decades, the Organic Consumers Association (OCA) has worked together with you and our combined networks as a strong force in the fight for healthy food and farming systems—for a thriving planet that fosters biodiversity and a deep respect for the land. We are writing to you today to ask for your help so we can keep this strong network alive at a time when raising our voices for change is more important than ever and funding is harder and harder to come by.

With the support of concerned citizens like you, we’ve taken on powerful corporate interests, defended organic integrity, fought for truth in labeling, and championed the rights of consumers, farmers, and communities. Countless people in our network depend on us to speak up for them and to help them make their own voices heard by sharing their comments directly with regulators, lawmakers, and community leaders who have the power to make decisions that protect our health and the planet we share.

This year has been tough on organizations like ours. After losing our primary source of funding last year, it has been a challenge to keep going. Individual donations from supporters like you have meant the world to us and have allowed us to continue our work effectively—but without further support, we risk losing the ability to continue our vital campaigns that protect your food, your health, and the environment we all depend on.

We’re writing to ask you to stand with us now—to make sure this important work carries on.

Since our founding, OCA has made a significant impact on integrity in the food system, serving as a fearless advocate for transparency, promoting organic and regenerative agriculture, and working to ensure fairness throughout the food chain. Our grassroots campaigns have had a powerful influence, and we continue to be a leading voice addressing these critical issues.

We have led national movements for GMO labeling and transparency, ensuring that consumers have the right to know what’s in their food. Our recent campaign against the growing presence of synthetic foods in the food supply has taken center stage, highlighting emerging threats to food authenticity. In Mexico, our efforts to protect heirloom corn and fight the use of glyphosate demonstrate the tangible successes our movement continues to achieve.

OCA also holds corporations accountable for deceptive “natural” or “eco-friendly” marketing claims, taking legal action to defend honesty in labeling and protect consumers from misinformation.

While calling out the dangers of industrial agriculture, we are advancing regenerative and organic farming practices by providing resources to farmers and consumers committed to soil health, animal welfare, and community resilience.

Through our long-running Organic Bytes newsletter, social media outreach, and action alerts, we educate millions—empowering people with the facts they need to make informed choices about their food.

Our global alliances with the Agroecology movement continue to strengthen through our sister organization, Regeneration International, which now includes over 600 partner organizations working to restore ecosystems and empower small farmers worldwide. Our extensive Regenerative Farm Map connects consumers, farmers, and producers every day, helping them share resources, products, and knowledge within the regenerative agriculture community.

Finally, the Vía Orgánica Farm School in Mexico serves as a hands-on project of OCA, where students of all ages learn practical methods of regenerative agriculture—equipping them with the skills to protect their food sovereignty and build a more secure future.

Each of these efforts has only been possible because of grassroots support from people who believe that truth, transparency, and organic integrity matter.

The loss of a key funding source has left a sudden and serious gap in our operating budget. But the work can’t stop when pesticide contamination, corporate greenwashing, and attacks on organic standards continue to threaten the progress we’ve made together.

We are determined to keep fighting. We have the experience, the network, and the passion to do it—but we need you by our side.

Your tax-deductible gift today will help OCA:

•Keep our campaigns for pesticide reduction and GMO transparency alive and active.

•Defend truth in labeling and corporate accountability in court.

•Sustain educational programs and grassroots action networks that reach millions.

•Support regenerative farmers and communities building healthy local food systems.

Every dollar you give will go directly toward protecting what matters most: real food, a healthy planet, and the right to choose clean, organic alternatives for future generations.
