DOJ Gives Unpublished Part of Jack Smith’s Report to Federal Judge

The U.S. Department of Justice (DOJ) has handed over the unpublished portion of former special counsel Jack Smith’s final report to a federal judge, according to a Jan. 16 court filing. “The government has provided to the Court for in camera review two hard copies of Volume Two” of the report, DOJ officials said in the document. The DOJ recently released volume one of Smith’s report for public perusal, after Cannon ruled against an attempt to block its release.
