Hegseth Urges Indo-Pacific Allies to Boost Defense Against China

Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth says the United States will stand by its Indo-Pacific allies as they face increasing military and economic pressure from China. He called on Asian countries to boost their own military spending, however, saying that China's army is, "rehearsing for the real deal" when it comes to its stated goal of taking over Taiwan.
