House panel advances legislation to halt taxpayer dollars from flowing to the Taliban

A Republican-led panel advanced legislation that would stymie the flow of taxpayer dollars to the Taliban, despite opposition from Democrats who said that in the name of defunding the terror group, it actually targets non-governmental organizations that do good works.
