Hunter Biden Whistleblowers Promoted to Senior Treasury Department Posts

The two IRS investigators who exposed details of the investigation into former first son Hunter Biden have been promoted to senior roles at the Department of the Treasury. Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent on Tuesday promoted Gary Shapley and Joseph Ziegler to senior advisers for IRS reform at the agency. Shapley will also serve as deputy chief of IRS criminal investigations.
