Illinois Bill Would Let Failing School System Send Homeschooling Parents To Jail

December 13, 2023, was homeschool day at the LBJ Library. Young students tested their creative skills designing White House china, attended a story-time session about Lady Bird Johnson and explored the Library during this special day just for them.

A new bill requires parents to report themselves to their local school district, and parents who do not will be considered truant.
