Judge Halts Construction on Trump White House Ballroom Project

A federal judge ordered the Trump administration to halt construction on the massive White House ballroom unless Congress approves the plans. The judge wrote Trump was “not the owner” of the White House. President Donald Trump argues he does not need approval because the $400 million project will be privately funded.
