Republican support for same-sex marriage is lowest in a decade, Gallup poll finds

While Democratic support for gay nuptials has risen steadily since the Supreme Court's 2016 same-sex marriage ruling, Republican support is nearly the same as it was a decade ago — and has tumbled 14 points since its record high of 55% in 2021 and 2022, according to a new Gallup poll.
