S&P 500 closes at record high as Nvidia releases better-than-expected earnings

The S&P 500 notched a record-high close ahead of quarterly results from Nvidia. Shares of Nvidia, the leading supplier of AI processors, bounced between gains and losses before ending down 0.1% ahead of the report, due after the market closes.
