Trump Seeks Expansion and Extension of DC Police Takeover

President Donald Trump is now saying he plans to federalize Washington, D.C.'s police department beyond the 30 days allowed without Congressional approval, a move Democrats vow to fight back against. It comes as protesters take to the streets to voice their outrage over the president's announcement to expand the National Guard and federal officer presence in in the nation's capital.
