US Carries out Strike on Alleged Drug Boat Since Maduro Capture

The United States military carried out a deadly strike on an alleged drug boat in the Eastern Pacific on Friday. U.S. Southern Command posted that two people were killed and the Coast Guard was searching for one person who survived. It’s the first announced strike on alleged drug smugglers since the capture of Venezuelan President Nicolás Maduro.
