White House considering pulling nomination for special counsel

The White House is considering pulling the nomination for Paul Ingrassia, who was tapped to lead a key federal whistleblower agency. Asked whether the president was considering pulling the nomination of the far-right former podcaster, Senate Majority Leader John Thune, R-S.D., said, “you'll probably be hearing from them soon.” Thune had earlier said that "he’s not going to pass,” when referring to Ingrassia's confirmation hearings.
