White House Launches Website to Rewrite History of Jan. 6 Attack

President Donald Trump released a controversial new website to mark the fifth anniversary of the Jan. 6 attacks on the Capitol that aims to rewrite the history of the day. It calls the rioters “peaceful protestors” and blames the capital police officers for deliberately escalating tensions. NBC’s Peter Alexander reports for TODAY.
