CBP One Is Gone, Replaced With CBP Home to Encourage Illegal Aliens to Self-Deport  

The Trump administration is launching a mobile application to help illegal aliens self-deport.

The CBP Home app provides illegal immigrants with a way to report their planned self-deportation to the Department of Homeland Security.  

“The CBP Home app gives aliens the option to leave now and self-deport, so they may still have the opportunity to return legally in the future and live the American dream,” DHS Secretary Kristi Noem said in a statement Monday.  

If illegal immigrants don’t self-deport, Noem warns, “we will find them, we will deport them, and they will never return.” 

All applications that were completed on the Bidden administration’s CBP One mobile application will automatically update to the CBP Home app, according to the DHS press release. The Biden administration used the CBP One app to mass-parole illegal aliens into the interior of the U.S., but President Donald Trump discontinued the app upon taking office.  

“The Biden administration exploited the CBP One app to allow more than 1 million aliens to illegally enter the United States,” Noem said. “With the launching of the CBP Home app, we are restoring integrity to our immigration system.” 

The announcement of the app encouraging self-deportation is part of a $200 million DHS ad campaign to “Stay Out and Leave Now,” and comes as Immigration and Customs Enforcement continues arresting and deporting illegal aliens, with a special focus on the removal of criminal illegal immigrants. 

As of the end of February, a Department of Homeland Security spokesperson told National Review that federal authorities had removed 55,000 illegal immigrants since the start of the Trump administration on Jan. 20.   

With a high priority being placed on the removal of illegal aliens under the Trump administration, Noem announced Sunday the appointment of new ICE leadership.  

“With President Trump’s support, I am appointing new ICE leadership to deliver results that President Trump and the American people rightfully demand,” the former South Dakota governor said.  

Todd Lyons, the former associate director of field operations for ICE’s Enforcement and Removal Operations, will serve as acting ICE director. Madison Sheahan, who currently serves as secretary of the Louisiana Department of Wildlife and Fisheries, will serve as deputy director of ICE.  

“Todd Lyons and Madison Sheahan are workhorses, strong executors, and accountable leaders who will lead the men and women of ICE to achieve the American people’s mandate to target, arrest, and deport illegal aliens,” Noem said.
