DeSantis calls a special session of the Florida legislature to deal with illegal immigration

Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis announced that he is calling for a special session of the Florida legislature to pass legislation related to illegal immigration at the beginning of President-elect Donald Trump’s term. DeSantis said he would have “effective accountability” for local officials to deal with illegal immigration.
