Johnson: “We’re barreling towards one of the longest shutdowns in American history”

Thirteen days into the government shutdown, Speaker of the House Mike Johnson warned it could become “one of the longest shutdowns in American history.” The Trump administration has laid off more than 4,000 federal workers across seven agencies during the shutdown. NBC News’ Gabe Gutierrez reports.
