Marjorie Taylor Greene (R-Ga.) apologized Sunday for engaging in “toxic politics” in a one-on-one interview with CNN’s Dana Bash. “I would like to say, humbly, I’m sorry for taking part in the toxic politics,” Greene said. “It’s very bad for our country.” The firebrand politician said this was something she has been thinking about since political activist Charlie Kirk’s assassination. “I’m committed—and I’ve been working on this a lot lately—to put down the knives in politics,” Greene said.
