New Prosecutor Selected in Georgia Election Interference Case

The 2020 Georgia election interference case against President Donald Trump is going forward with a new prosecutor. Peter Skandalakis announced his own appointment on Friday, saying he struggled to find someone to take on the case. The original prosecutor, Fulton County District Attorney Fani Willis, was disqualified over a romantic relationship with the lawyer she chose to lead the case.
