It’s been a great year for Zen Honeycutt and her grassroots advocacy group Moms Across America.
President Trump appointed Robert F. Kennedy Jr. — a longtime ally and adviser to her organization — to become the head of the Department of Health and Human Services. Honeycutt literally cried tears of joy when she heard Kennedy was selected. And she traveled to Capitol Hill, where she had a front-row seat at Kennedy’s Senate confirmation hearing.
Sen. Cory Booker, D-N.J., cited her organization’s work when introducing a bill to eliminate toxic substances in school lunches and increase support for organic farmers and others who farm using sustainable practices.
