Trump Says Gaza Cease-Fire ‘Very Solid’ as Hamas Returns Bodies of 3 Hostages

U.S. President Donald Trump described the cease-fire between Israel and Hamas as “very solid” over the weekend, as the terrorist group returned the bodies of three more hostages taken during the Oct. 7, 2023, attack. Trump made the comments during an Oct.31 interview with CBS News’ “60 Minutes,” aired on Nov. 2. “It’s not fragile. It’s a very solid. I mean, you hear about Hamas, but Hamas could be taken out immediately if they don’t behave. They know that. If they don’t behave, they’re going to be taken out immediately,” Trump said. When asked how he would get Hamas to disarm, Trump said: “If I want them to disarm, I’ll get them to disarm very quickly. They’ll be eliminated. They know that.
